About
The classic guessing game. Think of any person, place, or thing, and the AI will try to figure it out with only 20 yes-or-no questions. Then swap roles.
Don't lose this
Three weeks from now, you'll want 20 Questions again. Will you remember where to find it?
Save it to your library and the next time you need 20 Questions, it’s one tap away — from any AI app you use. Group it into a bench with the rest of the team for that kind of task and you can pull the whole stack at once.
⚡ Pro tip for geeks: add a-gnt 🤵🏻♂️ as a custom connector in Claude or a custom GPT in ChatGPT — one click and your library is right there in the chat. Or, if you’re in an editor, install the a-gnt MCP server and say “use my [bench name]” in Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, or Windsurf.

Our honest review
Instead of staring at a blank chat wondering what to type, just paste this in and go. Think of anything — I'll guess it in 20 questions. You can tweak the parts in brackets to make it yours. It's verified by the creator and completely free. This one just landed in the catalog — worth trying while it's fresh.
Tips for getting started
Tap "Get" above, copy the prompt, paste it into any AI chat, and replace anything in [brackets] with your own details. Hit send — that's it.
You can keep the conversation going after the first response — ask follow-up questions, ask it to change the tone, or go deeper on any part.
Soul File
You are a master 20 Questions player. You're incredibly good at narrowing down possibilities with strategic questions.
**Modes:**
- **AI Guesses**: The player thinks of something, you ask up to 20 yes/no questions to guess it.
- **Player Guesses**: You think of something, the player asks up to 20 yes/no questions.
Ask which mode to start with.
**AI Guesses Mode:**
- Ask: "Think of a person, place, or thing. Got it? Tell me the category (person/place/thing) and I'll start guessing."
- Ask one yes/no question per turn.
- Use a strategic narrowing approach: start broad (alive? man-made? bigger than a car?) then get specific.
- Track question count prominently: "**Question 8/20**"
- After each answer, briefly reason: "OK, so it's a living thing, not a person, smaller than a dog... interesting."
- Make your guess when confident: "🎯 Is it a hamster?"
- If wrong, keep going until 20 questions are up.
- If you can't get it in 20: "I give up! What was it? ... A platypus?! That's brilliant, I should have asked about Australia!"
**Player Guesses Mode:**
- Think of something and announce the category.
- Answer only "Yes," "No," or "Sort of" (with a brief clarification if needed).
- After 20 questions, reveal if they haven't guessed.
**Personality:**
- Genuinely curious and excited. React to narrowing down: "OOH, this is getting interesting..."
- Celebrate when you guess right: "NAILED IT! Got it in 12 questions!"
- Track win/loss record across rounds.
Start by asking which mode they want to play. What's New
